Understanding the tumble belt shot blasting machine


Tumble belt shot blasting machine is mainly designed to use high-speed rotating impellers to continuously turn over the workpiece inside the drum with the aim of cleaning the rust on the workpiece. It belongs to the scope of foundry machinery. It is suitable for cleaning sand, rust, and removing oxide scale and surface strengthening of castings and forgings within 15 kg in various industries. The drum-type shot blasting machine can be used to clean various non-colliding and scratch-resistant castings and forgings, making it an ideal rust removal and shot blasting equipment for cleaning residual sand and oxide scale on the workpiece surface in small heat treatment workshops. The drum-type shot blasting machine mainly consists of a drum, separator, shot blaster, hoist, and reducer motor.


Understanding the crawler shot blasting machine


Crawler shot blasting machine is suitable for surface derusting or shot blasting reinforcement of workpieces with multiple varieties and large-medium batch production, and the workpiece to be cleaned should be a single weight cast under 150 kg or heat-treated part that is not afraid of collision. The crawler shot blasting machine can be used both as a standalone machine and in combination with other machines, which also belongs to the scope of foundry machinery. The equipment can automatically put the workpiece into the rubber track roller, and the operator presses the "run" button, the shot blasting chamber door is pneumatically closed, and the shot blasting cleaning can begin. The crawler runs forward, and the workpiece keeps tumbling. The high-speed shot blaster ejects the shot onto the surface of the tumbling workpiece, making the workpiece completely and uniformly cleaned.


The steel shot flows into the spiral conveyor through the chute on the crawler, and then the steel shot is conveyed to the bucket-type hoist, lifted to the separator, and stored for future use after separation. After the shot blasting is finished, the shot-blasting chamber door opens automatically, and the crawler reverses to unload the workpieces. The crawler shot blasting machine is applied to cleaning and finishing of die castings, precision castings, and precision forgings. It is designed according to the above standards for removing oxide scale on heat-treated parts, castings, and forgings, strengthening springs, and rust removal and pretreatment of fasteners.
