Heavy-Duty Roller Conveyor Shot Blasting Machine Exported to Turkey for H-Beam & Steel Structure Treatment

QGMA has successfully completed manufacturing, full performance testing, and official delivery of a heavy-duty customized roller conveyor pass-through shot blasting

machine, which is now exported to a professional steel structure manufacturing enterprise in Turkey. This high-end industrial surface treatment equipment is specially

developed and configured for large-scale construction steel components, focusing on high-standard derusting, descaling, and surface homogenization treatment for

various H-beams, box beams, profile steels, and welded steel structural parts. With the booming development of Turkey's local infrastructure construction, industrial plant

expansion, and commercial engineering projects, local steel manufacturers are raising increasingly strict requirements for steel surface quality, anti-corrosion performance,

and production efficiency. This large-size roller shot blasting solution perfectly meets the customer's long-term mass production demands and high-precision pretreatment

standards for engineering steel.

The cooperating Turkish customer is a leading local steel fabrication factory, mainly engaged in customized processing and supporting supply of building steel structures,

mechanical equipment frames, bridge steel components, and factory load-bearing steel beams. In actual production, all H-beam workpieces and profile steel components

need to undergo complete surface shot blasting pretreatment before anti-rust primer spraying and finish coating. In the past, the customer adopted traditional

intermittent shot blasting equipment and auxiliary manual polishing processes, which exposed many irreversible production defects. The most prominent problem was

uneven cleaning quality. Due to the limited chamber space and insufficient blasting power of old equipment, the inner flanges, deep grooves, and welding corners of H-

beams could not be fully cleaned, resulting in residual rolling oxide scales, welding slag, and local rust spots. These hidden defects directly lead to poor paint bonding,

frequent coating peeling and blistering in later outdoor use, seriously affecting the safety and service life of engineering steel structures.

In addition to unstable quality, the old production mode severely restricted the customer's output capacity. Intermittent loading and unloading, repeated positioning, and

low blasting coverage efficiency made it impossible to support large-batch and continuous production. With the continuous growth of local engineering orders, the

original cleaning process has become a major bottleneck restricting factory capacity expansion. To completely solve the dual problems of quality instability and insufficient

output, the customer conducted multi-brand solution comparisons and finally chose QGMA's customized heavy-duty roller conveyor shot blasting machine.

According to the customer's maximum workpiece size, daily production batch, and on-site workshop conditions, our technical team customized a super-large chamber

structure with a 2500mm × 3000mm effective cleaning opening. The ultra-large inlet design can freely pass through various oversized H-beams, thick-walled box girders,

and assembled large steel structures, completely solving the problem of workpiece size restrictions in traditional equipment. To achieve 360° dead-angle-free cleaning for

complex steel profiles, we adopted the industry's high-power full configuration, equipped with 16 sets of high-efficiency blast wheels arranged in a multi-dimensional

staggered manner. The upper, lower, left, and right groups of blasting units precisely cover all surfaces of the steel beam, including the upper and lower plates, vertical

plates, inner flanges, and welding seams, ensuring uniform impact strength and thorough removal of all surface impurities.

Different from traditional hook-type shot blasting machines that require frequent hoisting and flipping, the roller conveyor pass-through structure realizes fully automated

assembly line operation. The frequency-conversion adjustable roller table can stably transport super-long and super-heavy steel workpieces at a constant speed. The

production speed can be flexibly adjusted according to the degree of rust, workpiece thickness, and customer's surface roughness standards, switching freely between

high-efficiency mass production and high-precision fine cleaning. After treatment, the surface of all steel components presents a uniform and delicate metallic matte

texture, with consistent roughness, which provides the best adhesion foundation for subsequent paint spraying and greatly improves the overall anti-corrosion and

weather resistance of steel structures in outdoor engineering environments.

In terms of production efficiency improvement, this new equipment brings a comprehensive upgrade to the customer's production line. The continuous uninterrupted

blasting mode completely eliminates the waiting time caused by single-piece hoisting and clamping. Under the same working hours, the effective processing capacity is

more than three times that of the original equipment. The whole process realizes automatic feeding, automatic blasting, and automatic discharging, requiring only one

operator to monitor the operation, which greatly reduces labor investment and manual operating errors. The standardized mechanical processing effectively reduces the

product defective rate and rework rate, helping customers save a lot of production costs and improve order delivery efficiency.

In terms of safety and environmental protection, the whole machine adopts an all-closed thickened steel plate structure to effectively prevent steel shot splashing and dust

overflow. Equipped with a high-efficiency pulse bag dust removal system, the equipment can quickly collect fine dust generated during operation, fully complying with

Turkey's industrial environmental protection emission standards and workshop safety production specifications. All internal protective liners are made of high wear-

resistant manganese steel, which can resist long-term high-strength shot impact and adapt to 24-hour heavy-load continuous production. The modular structural design

facilitates daily maintenance, quick replacement of wearing parts, and routine equipment inspection, effectively reducing equipment failure rate and downtime loss.

At present, the equipment has been successfully delivered to the customer's factory in Turkey, fully completing on-site installation, commissioning and trial operation. It is

now officially in stable mass production. The equipment runs steadily with qualified cleaning performance, fully meeting the customer's large-scale production demands

for steel structure workpieces. This customized 2.5×3m large-opening 16-blast-wheel roller shot blasting machine once again proves QGMA's professional customization

strength in the field of heavy steel structure surface treatment. We will continue to focus on the actual needs of global industrial customers, provide high-cost-performance

and high-stability shot blasting equipment solutions for steel structure manufacturers around the world, and help more overseas customers achieve quality upgrading and

capacity expansion.
