Shot Blast Machine Terminology

  1. Abrasive cycle system: The abrasive circulation is composed of an abrasive storage bin, screw conveyors, bucket elevator, separator, and so on. The abrasive circulation process is as follows: abrasive bin-- abrasive dosing units-- slipping pipes-- blasting turbines-- object items surface-- screw conveyor-- bucket elevator-- separator-- abrasive storage bin.

  2. Screw conveyor: screw conveyor is composed of the gearbox and motor, screw shaft, transmission cover, bearings with seats and other components. It is a standard abrasive conveying equipment, is an important part of the circulatory system of the shot blasting machine.

  3. Bucket elevator: Bucket elevator is composed of cycloidal pin gear reducer, upper and lower roller, transmission belt, bucket, closed abrasive storage hopper, and tensioner. The feed port of the bucket elevator is connected with the crosswise screw conveyor, and the discharge port is connected with the screw roller sieve of the separator. In order to ensure that the belt conveyor does not skid on the surface of the drum during the bucket elevator works, the roller surface is welded with steel plates into a cage shape.

  4. Dust collector:  the dust collector for sandblasting room is a unit that traps blast cleaning dust and allows only clean air to be exhausted into the atmosphere. The dust air generated during shot blasting flow through the sedimentation chamber and then to through the ducts to the cartridge filters. Then the dust is collected on the surface of filters. The filtering clean air via cartridge center and get into the clean air chamber, and then through the chimney get ours into the atmosphere.

  5. SA2.5: Rust removal grade ISO8501-1:1988

  6. Spare parts: blasting machine spare parts including blade, control cage, distributor, hood guard plate, rear/front guard plate, side guard plate, impeller.
