Core Process of Rebar Epoxy Resin Coating Line

1. Feeding & Conveying Deformed

steel bars are fed into the production line via a feeding rack, roller conveyor, or overhead conveyor chain, passing through each station at a constant speed.

2. Surface Pretreatment

Shot Blasting machine, Removes mill scale, rust, and oil contaminants. The surface roughness reaches Grade Sa2.5 with a roughness value of 40–80 μm, ensuring strong coating adhesion.

3. Medium-Frequency Induction Heating

The steel bars pass through medium-frequency induction furnace and are rapidly heated to 20–250℃ (precision temperature control ±5℃) to prepare for powder melting.

4. Electrostatic Powder Coating

An electrostatic powder coating system is adopted. Epoxy powder is charged under a high voltage of 40–80 kV and uniformly adsorbed onto the surface of the hot steel bars. Coating Thickness: 0.18–0.30 mm (adjustable).

5. High-Temperature Curing & Flow Leveling The coated bars enter a hot-air circulating curing oven and are held at 180–220℃ for 10–15 minutes, allowing the powder to melt, flow, and cross-link into a continuous film.

6. Cooling & Quality Inspection Air cooling or water cooling to room temperature
