Roller Conveyor Shot Blasting Machine was commissioned at the customer's factory in Russia

This year we supplied a roller conveyor shot blasting machine with loading and unloading system to a Russian customer. The customer use this machine to blast steel pipe, Steel tube, h beam and other workpieces.

Through type shot blasting machine is a multi-purpose machine, the working principle is also very simple.

Roller conveyor shot blasting machine is operated via SIEMENS touch screen PLC unit. It can be operated and controlled both automatically and manually as operator’s wish. When the machine is started, all the units start running according to proper running order, except turbines. The turbines start blasting only when workpieces pass through the blasting area. After blasting, abrasive fall down to the hopper of the machine body and is transferred to the bucket elevator by means of 1 bottom and 1 cross screw conveyors. The bucket elevator handle dirty abrasive up to the rotary sieve which is placed on top of the separator. Foreign parts and mill scales larger than 10mm are collected by the rotary sieve and transferred to a sieve on the abrsive shot blasting machine close to ground for operator’s easy discharge, whereas dusty abrasive is transferred to the sepertor. There is an other sieve inside the seperator to collect foreign parts and mill scales larger than 3mm and smaller than 10mm, to prevent those parts from reaching the turbines and breaking down the turbine components. The dust is 100% separated from the abrasive by means of a constant air suction, and totally clean abrasive is collected inside the abrasive depot to be reblasted.

The dust is seperated from the air in 3 steps by means of 3 individual units, and collected inside buckets on the ground for operator’s easy discharge. Large dust particals are seperated from the air by the seperator unit and collected indside a bucket on the ground. Air mixed with smaller dust particals pass through the cyclone, which collects 90% of dust inside a bucket on the ground. Finally the air mixed with very fine dust reach to the filtering unit. Cartridge type filters collect the fine dust inside buckets  at the bottom of the filtering unit and release clean air to outside.
