Shot blasting technology is a processing technology in which steel grit and steel shots are shot and impacted on the surface of a material object at a high speed through a blast turbine. Compared with other surface treatment technologies, it is faster, more effective, and can be partially retained or the casting process after stamping.
Reason 1: Due to the shape of the shot blasting system workpiece, some steel shots are brought out. Or, when the shot blasting is completed and the workpiece is hanging down, part of the steel shot falls on the ground or is still on the workpiece. If it is not cleaned in time, it will accumulate more and more and may be carried to the next process.
Reason 2: After the shot blasting machine is used for a long time, its sealing performance decreases, which makes the sealing effect worse. Then, on some parts, steel shots will appear.
Reason 3: The top of the shot blasting chamber in the shot blasting machine is not completely sealed. Therefore, after the steel shot hits the surface of the work piece, it may fly out due to the rebound effect, which may cause the shot leakage.
Replace the worn out shot blaster parts in time, such as the protective plate in the blast turbine, the protective plate in the blasting chamber, etc.
Replace the sealing equipment in time, such as: sealing rubber sheet, rubber curtain strip, etc.
The top of the shot blasting chamber of the roller conveyor shot blasting machine is not completely sealed. When the steel shot hits the surface of the workpiece, the steel shot will rebound, the ejection trajectory is uncertain, and a small part of the steel shot may leak. To deal with the leakage of the through-type shot blasting machine: a set of steel shot collection device can be added at the exit of the shot blasting machine. The steel shot collection device is to collect the taken steel shots and put them in the conveying screw of the shot blasting machine to make it enter the elevator, so as to realize the recycling of steel shots without causing waste.
