Bathed in the sunlight of November the fifth, 2025, the factory received the delivery schedule from the Australian customer. Early in the morning, our convoy and the driver had already been waiting at the factory. This shipment is destined for a port city in the southwestern part of Australia. The customer's customized equipment is a hook shot blasting machine. Its volume is approximately 50 cubic meters, and the equipment weighs around 6,000 kilograms. There are nearly 40 accessories. It needs to be transported in a 40-foot container. All the main body of the equipment and the accessories need to be tightly reinforced with stretch film and reinforced again inside the container to prevent damage to the goods caused by the jolts during the long sea transportation and at the dock tallying stations.
The loading process is very rigorous and scientific. It requires the collaboration of forklift drivers, crane operators, equipment managers, sales personnel, and other parties to complete together. First, the main body or accessories of the equipment should be wrapped with plastic film and sorted and placed in the pre-assembly area of the workshop. Once the container driver drives the truck into the factory, the overhead crane will lift the container off the truck and lower it smoothly to the ground. To facilitate loading and unloading, we have designed two schemes. One is with the vehicle door facing forward and the other is with the vehicle door facing backward. The specific scheme will be determined based on the placement of the equipment on site and the operation area of the crane.
The process of packing is not as simple and smooth as we imagined. During this process, the gantry crane and forklift need to repeatedly measure the distance and coordinate with each other. Sometimes, the goods may seem to fit into the container, but when the forklift drives into the container, it will be found that some of the equipment bodies cannot be quickly loaded into the container. They need to slowly and gradually find the space and tentatively load the goods into the container. One must not be careless or hasty; it is necessary to ensure the safety, integrity and proper loading of the goods into the container, providing a perfect explanation to the customers. This process embodies the efforts of the workers, forklift drivers and on-site maintenance personnel, and also reflects their superb loading skills.
During the on-site installation process, the figures of warehouse managers and equipment operators could also be seen. They moved among them, conducting account checks, tallying goods, and counting items. They were outstanding representatives of the young workers' community. As time went by, the goods were gradually being loaded into the container. There were nearly 40 main items and accessories, and it would take about 3 to 4 hours to complete the process. We had to ensure both speed and quality. All the goods have been packed. The driver completed the handover procedures with the factory staff and the salespeople. The truck slowly left our factory and sped towards the port. All the staff at the site couldn't help but gather at the factory gate to see the container truck leave, feeling relieved that the perfect packing task was over.
